Thank you all those who signed, it may not have been a huge success, but the troops will be out by summer we hope.
This petion is raised on behalf of the families of those who are serving and have served in Iraq. It is to voice our oposition to our troops being deployed on an operation, which under the surface, does not comply fully with the oath they have taken. The soldiers joined up to defend their country and keep the peace, not to invade other countries on behalf of President Bush.
We, the undersigned, seek support for the removal of all UK forces from Iraq. We ask the government to consider this as a matter of urgency. It is an abuse of the loyalty, and possibly of the lives, of British soldiers to use them in an immoral war which a majority of Britons oppose and which has no backing from the UN.
Please lend your support to my campaign - We owe it to our soldiers to bring them home.
