Students were sent home from East High School on the First Day of school for having two-toned hair of natural colors. Students should be allowed to keep their hair color even if it is two different colors if it is two natural colors.
Hair color does not intervene with the teachers teaching or the students learning, but sending them home on their first and second days of school does.
The dress code should be changed and students should be allowed to have two-toned hair of natural colors.
We, the undersigned, call on the school board and Victoria Independent School District to allow students to attend school with two-toned hair of natural colors.
