Until then please work on recruiting for the chorus and show the backing our community holds for the LHS Choral DEPT. by supporting us throughout the area of central Florida.
The Leesburg High School chorus has been threatened with cancellation should numbers not increase. The chorus department has been a major part in everyones life that has been a part of it. It has done more than created a family for its students but for the whole community.
Many groups await the annual performances of the Leesburg Highschool Chorus including our Madrigal dinner, concerts, and performances throughout the community.
Chorus gives the children a place to relax and be with people that love doing the same thing they do, sing and bring joy to others through dancing and the power of music not just in Leesburg High School but through all of the Lake County Schools.
We, the supporters of the Lake County Chorus Department, petition for the continuation of chorus in Leesburg High School and all Lake county schools.
Without chorus children would lose a program that has done so much for them by affecting their lives and the lives of thousands in the community of central Florida.
