The actual dates depend on the Hindu lunar calendar which falls on 3 Nov 2013. The HEB has changed it to NOV 2, which is not according to the Hindu Lunar Calendar.
Deepawali is the festival of light gloriously celebrated by all Hindus of the world and where Diyas (lamps) are lighted in a decorative style around houses.
The Singaporeans Indian has the right to celebrate our festival according to our Hindu Lunar Calendar.
Change the date back to Nov 3, 2013.
