We won the battle and the Fire Rescue Unit will remain at Station #2. The commissioners voted on September 8th to fund an additional Fire Rescue Unit so that the unit currently at Station #2 will not be removed. Thank you all for your support and help to keep this vital service in our neighborhood. You voiced your opinion and it was heard.
This petition is to demonstrate to the Hillsborough County Commissioners the support from the FishHawk Community to keep the Rescue/Transport Unit at Station 2 and not move it to Station 16.
FishHawk and the surrounding community feels that the removal of that unit to another station will have a devastating effect on the well being of their constituents.
We, the undersigned, request that the County Commisioners reject the proposal to move the Rescue/Transport Unit from Station 2 to another Station.
