Most citizens are surprised when they learn that convicted cop killers are ever eligible for parole, much less sometimes released from prison. In the past offenders have been released without out prior notification to the family members of the lost officer. Victim's families will often attend parole hearings every other year. This is very painful for the family to open old wounds.
Richard Workman was given fourteen parole hearings before he died in prison in 2009. When you read this article you will understand the need for this website and for No Parole For Cop Killers Legislation.
Something should be done to stop this! Please get involved. Please take a few minutes to sign the petitions on this website. Contact your Congressional Representatives and tell them to pass a bill which makes a cop killer who is convicted and sentenced to death or life in prison ineligible for parole. Contact the parole boards and ask them to deny parole for cop killers.
