I think that the petition was successful in helping to keep this motocross track open. Even though this type of petition was not admissable as evidence in court it was still able to show the level of support, and that we are not going to stand by and watch as they close our tracks. Since this whole thing happened, the track has returned to normal and the owner has even expanded by purchasing another local track. Thank you to everyone for the help and support that you gave.
High Voltage is a motocross practice track in southwestern Pennsylvania that is being brought up on criminal charges. PA crimes code 6504 Criminal / Public Nuisance is the charge that is being filed. The township approved the MX park, there were no zoning or ordinance problems. Previously, there was a go-cart track on the same property. If they are successful in shutting High Voltage down, it becomes case law and could result in the closing of countless race facilities regardless of grandfather laws, zoning laws etc.
