On behalf of David Lammy MP, Tottenham Green Councillors, Joanne McCartney AM and local residents who have fought and campaigned over the last six weeks to save Page Green Post Office on Broad Lane, We would like to thank you for your support. We received 13 online signitures, 215 offline signitures and countless other representations which we have submitted to the Post Office.
The letters maybe in, and the consultation now closed, but the fight goes on and we will keep you informed of the campaign's progress.
Thanks again.
The Post Office announced plans on 19 Feb to close Page Green Post Office at 87 Broad Lane as part of its London Area Plan. Residents have until 2nd April to oppose the closure before it takes effect.
David Lammy MP, Joanne McCartney AM and Tottenham Green Labour Councillors Harry Lister, Bernice Vanier, and Isidoros Diakides are united with the community in campaigning against the decision and have launched a petition that we will deliver to the Post Office opposing this closure.
We, the undersigned, believe that Page Green Post Office at 87 Broad Lane is a vital resource for local residents and businesses and that the alternative post offices on West Green Road and Seven Sisters Road are too far away, especially for elderly and vulnerable residents.
We call on the Post Office to keep the Post Office at 87 Broad Lane open and invest in its future.
The Save Page Green/Broad Lane Post Office petition to The Post Office was written by David Lammy and is in the category Neighborhood Living at GoPetition.
