Save the Sari Club site in Bali for a Peace Park.

The Sari Club in Kuta, Bali was destroyed by a terrorist bomb blast in 2002 killing people of many nationalities. The Bali Peace Park Association Inc has attempted to purchase the site for an international peace park believing no greater message could be sent to would be terrorists than to have a peace park built on the site that was destroyed by terrorism. The Indonesian authorities have since 2002 declared the land an historic site and have said no commercial development would be allowed. It is a sacred site for many cultures and religions as well as being a site with international significance. Now all that has changed and a building permit has been issued for the site. Our only hope of preventing the building proceeding is to have Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison personally approach Indonesian President Joko Widodo with a plea to withdraw the building permit.
