End Psychological Child Abuse

For CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION and the HUMAN RIGHTS of CHILDREN

I, a mommy, didn't rise to punish.
I stood up to end the abuse cycle.
For my son, and
To protect EVERY CHILD from SILENCE.

We are family of 4, living In Japan.
Last year, 2024, our then-4-year-old son, Makoto, was subjected to prolonged psychological abuse at his daycare center for over six months.

He was repeatedly isolated from his peers, denied emotional support, and left alone for long periods.

Despite our repeated pleas based on Makoto’s own words asking for help, the daycare failed to notify or contact the city government.

We have obtained security camera footage and recorded conversations with the daycare principal, chief teacher, and the teacher involved—providing direct evidence of the mistreatment.

Still, the daycare denies any wrongdoing, has hired a lawyer, and now blames Makoto himself for the isolation—despite never having raised any concerns before.

The daycare's actions appear to violate Japan’s obligations under the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

unicef The Convention on the Rights of the Child
https://www.unicef.org/child-rights-convention/convention-text-childrens-version
https://www.unicef.or.jp/crc/

Makoto’s lived experience is being ignored, and the system meant to protect him has utterly failed.

REASON NEVER JUSTIFIES ABUSE.
ABUSE IS ABUSE.
CHILDREN’S HUMAN RIGHTS MATTER.

If we do not raise our voices now, Makoto’s truth will be buried—and other children may continue to suffer similar silent abuse.

We are seeking accountability and systemic change, both in Japan and globally,

So that, no child is ever left mentally and emotionally alone again.

[NOTE]
We are currently still consolidating and verifying information to be shared and updated.
Please allow us some time, as the pain intensifies each time we revisit the images and memories.

The Marvel Universe Online

This petition is to show support for a Massive Open-World game to Marvel Inc. and any license holders.

What is the Marvel Universe Online?

What is the Marvel Universe Online? In 1979 the movie Superman made the world believe a man could fly. It made the comic book character feel alive, real for the first time. In 1998, a video game called City of Heroes made the world believe they could all fly, leap tall buildings, or run faster than a speeding bullet. It's was a game that for the first time let us be the Paragons of justice that we only read about in comics. The Marvel Universe Online hopes to put that sense of wonder back in the hands on everyone who had a taste of the life of a superhero.

Why Marvel? Marvel was built on the idea of the everyday man or woman becoming greater than they ever thought possible. No perfect alien savior's, no Amazon goddesses, no billionaire vigilantes, just ordinary people becoming the extraordinary. Sure, Marvel has those things, but at its core, it's the common man's struggling to fight the good fight against the forces of evil. Whether bitten by a radioactive insect, exposed to cosmic rays, or just discover you were born different, it's still you. The Marvel Universe Online asks the question, "What do you do now?"

Investigate Statins

Statin therapies are prescribed to people around the globe. Evidence has emerged that statins can be hazardous to health. The prime rationale for their use is the notion that raised cholesterol is harmful. Much evidence suggests that a low serum cholesterol is associated with depression, suicide, muscle damage, memory loss, serious progressive neurological disorders and general ill-health.

The first report created from the accounts of petition signatories has now been completed. It was sent to various global authorities with a brief for drug safety and pharmacovigilance and to each person who signed the petition.

The report was written for a mixed audience of medical and non-medical people. It is 23 pages long and in PDF format. The World Health Organisation has received a copy of the report which was also published by the Journal of Independent Medical Research at the following URL:

http://www.joimr.org/JOIMR_Vol7_No1_Dec2009.pdf

The URL following this section is for clinicians and it details a letter to Therapeutics Initiative. The conclusions are clear:

Conclusions
• Systematic reviews and meta-analyses are challenging
and require much more than locating RCTs and
plugging in the numbers.
• The claimed mortality benefit of statins for primary
prevention is more likely a measure of bias than a real
effect.
• The reduction in major CHD serious adverse events
with statins as compared to placebo is not reflected in a
reduction in total serious adverse events.
• Statins do not have a proven net health benefit in
primary prevention populations and thus when used in
that setting do not represent good use of scarce health
care resources.

You may add a 500 word comment in support of your signature. You are encouraged to use that space to tell the WHO and various drug safety agencies around the world, exactly what has happened to you.

Please be assured that any information which you supply will never be misused. All data extracted from this petition will be presented in an anonymous form.

The petition must be presented with signatures that are unique and in that case your name will be known but you do not have to supply any other details if you wish them to remain private. If you choose to write a comment, please consider listing the statin name, dosage and the duration of treatment. It would be helpful to know if you are male or female and your age and if you are still taking a statin.

Please list the symptoms that have caused you to suffer and try to make an assessment of your quality of life (QOL) on a scale of 1 to 100. All of the information will help to produce a greater impact when the information is analysed.

Finally, please tell other people whom you know, who are being treated for high cholesterol. Thank you for your signature and your time. Where you are having difficulty in convincing your personal medical practitioner that statins are causing you problems, please feel free to make a copy of the report and give it to your medical practitioner.

Thank you. Jeff Cable

(I'm from Russia, so my English isn't very good. Sorry. Hope there isn't too many mistakes.)
"I'm So Sorry" is one of my (and not only my) favorite songs, and I think that song like it should have a video. I sometimes see comments like "Why didn't ID make I'm So Sorry music video?", so I decided to make a petition. I'm afraid that it won't make a difference, but everything is possible.

Save Claudio Bravo’ famous Arab horses.

In Taroudant, in the foothills of the high Atlas in Morocco some 150 km from Jarjeer Mule and Donkey Refuge, is the old home, known as the Palais Claudio Bravo, of the Chilean painter who died in 2011. He was a great man and a horse lover who had the finest Arab horses in the world.

A friend and equine expert visited a few days ago as part of a tour of Morocco. This is an extract from what she told me and it has been verified by other witnesses.

“We were taken to see the horses which we were told had been rescued but were separate from the hotel and were being nursed back to health. Before the tour I was told they were in a poor condition and that they didn’t always allow guests to see them because they would be shocked but not to be worried as “they were in a recovery programme”.

On arrival before the doors were opened the horses heard us and called out.

The stables revealed a much different and truly horrifying scene of some 9 or 10 horses starving. Their poor bodies were just skin stretched over their bones. Bones and lumps were protruding everywhere. It was horrific. It appeared they hadn’t been groomed for ages. Their eyes were crusty and weeping. They looked frightened and had hardly any bedding down just a few tiny pieces of dry straw and what looked like patches of dirty sawdust. In summary they were soiled, matted and filthy. Their bedding was so thin it didn’t cover the stable floor. They clearly hadn’t been groomed or looked after for what seemed like years. I’m a horse owner myself and I was deeply shocked by what I saw.

They had name plaques and dates of birth at each stable and it seemed that they were the horses of Claudio Bravo, once fine Arabs.

The tack room in contrast showed tack in pristine condition, silver cups polished, winners rosettes and certificates, photos and other items all of which had clearly been very well looked after. There were pictures of them in full health showing their prizes. It was clear that these once wonderful horses were in a state of abject neglect. I guessed they were Arabian horses from their heads.

There was no feed sacks or Haynets visible anywhere and none in the stables. No turnout areas or Paddocks/ grazing in the vicinity (we looked from above up the tower) and so it was clear they hadn’t been out of their stables for a long long time. They were kept in a building with big screen doors so not visible from outside, with a opaque roof so It was bright but all enclosed.

Some displayed weaving characteristic of acute stress. Some appeared to have growths but this may have been their skeleton showing through. Some had worn marks on the outside of their stable doors as they rubbed at it. All had their skeletons showing through their skin.

The stable yard had a large horse trough empty in it and a few weeds growing round it so no horse had even grazed outside its stable. It was clear that this was a horse equivalent of a concentration camp, the poor things imprisoned and starved.

All around the estate there were people working on the land, there were staff in the hotel too but none of these were looking after the poor horses who were so thin that only expert help would assist them. There appeared to be no such support and this is as far as I am concerned neglect of the worst kind.

We were sick. We were in tears. We hated ourselves for staying in such a place and this cast a huge shadow over us. The house and gardens environment was very luxurious and yet the horses were neglected, it made no sense especially when we read that the artist himself loved his animals.

A man appeared who spoke neither French nor English. He appeared to be a labourer who was in charge. He shouted loudly and aggressively at a horse when it kicked at the door.

It was a horrific experience and we couldn’t wait to leave the place and do whatever we could to alert others to the situation.”

We must act. and ensure veterinary help. Importantly we need trucks and I’m afraid that some of the horses cannot even stand. I can’t tell you how upset I am that this is happened in a country that I love where horses are respected and the Arab horse in particular.

Support modern forest biotechnology research

As stresses on forests mount due to invasive pests and climate change, genetic engineering has the potential to save threatened species and stop the spread of environmentally harmful pathogens. This technology should be promoted as a tool for supporting health forests.

Instead, trees developed using newer forms of biotechnology, such as gene editing and genetic engineering, currently are banned from forests that are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC), and nearly every other Sustainable Forest Management System (SFM).

The bans prevent organizations certified under FSC and PEFC from using biotech trees for any reason — even to save a species against an invasive pest. These trees may not be planted on certified lands, thereby impeding critical scientific research and limiting their ultimate use by society.

Forest certification systems are widely used to help ensure that forest management and derived goods are produced using environmentally and socially desirable methods. It is critical to base certification criteria on sound scientific principles and evidence to promote consumer confidence in certified products. A strong science foundation is also essential to ensure that certification systems do not recklessly impede research and innovation.

Bring back balance to War Dragons Atlas

Note! This petition seeks your INGAME NAME. Please feel feee to make your personal information anonymous.
Note 2: Your email address will never be shown.
——————————————————-

The introduction of the 4.90 release on Nov 13th 2018 significantly disadvantages the majority of players in Atlas.

1) Increased rate of permanent troop death
2) Removed scaling that disincentivized one-sided battles of large player accounts on lower level players which leads to increased permanent troop loss in 1) above
3) Removal of the effectiveness of trapping enemies on your home base - if you trap them they get full glory for hitting you.

These changes have created an environment where bullying by large teams is effectively incentivized, as it is easier to get glory off lower teams than teams who are your equal.

The issue is compounded by the recent process change PocketGems made to the rate of troop building.

This disequity, and the demoralizing effect of seeing days and weeks of hard work in troop building vanish before your eyes- without a fair exchange of glory that provides the in-game bonuses- is causing players to question continued involvement.

We need urgent action to keep War Dragons a viable game for all players rather than just the 1%ers.

The International Day of Family Remittances (IDFR) aims at recognizing the fundamental contribution of migrant workers to the wellbeing of their communities of origin. The Day was unanimously proclaimed by all 176 Member States of the Governing Council of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) in February 2015. Since then, the IDFR has received much encouragement and support from the public and private sectors, and development organizations.
Proclaiming an International Day of Family Remittances represents an opportunity for institutions to recognize the efforts of migrants globally and strengthen current cross-industry partnerships and create new synergies among sectors to promote the development impact of remittances worldwide and join together to help reach the ultimate goal of making migration for future generations more of a choice than a necessity.
