Complaint Against New Import Ban of Dogs to Norway

Norway has banned the import of so-called ¨street dogs¨ into the country. This newly imposed rule came into place July 1st 2018 and is a breach of
EU-Directive 576/2013 (none commercial importation of pets) and EU-Directive 92/65 (commercial importation of dogs and cats) and also Norway’s commitment after the Shengen Agreement. Mattilsynet (The Norwegian Food Safety Authority) defines all dogs coming from organizations, shelters, foster care, kennels and dogs with unknown origin, as street dogs, and claims that street dogs are a threat to health in Norway, which has never been proved because all dogs being sent to Norway undergo many tests, health checks, and vaccinations. Furthermore, this new rule is discrimintory because it does not apply to breeder/pedigree dogs.
In order to stop this unfair rule from continuing, it is essential that other EU-countries complain to Mattilsynet and also to the EU.
It is VERY important that you, your organizations and veterinarians gets involved and sign this petition which will be sent to the EU- commission as well as the EFTA Surveillance Authority !!

Let Aaron Stay in Norway

Aaron Ara was denied refuge for the second time in June 2o11. He is one of nearly 75o Palestinian refugees whose asylum applications have been rejected by Norwegian authorities during the last two years. Previously, nearly all Palestinian refugees were granted residence in Norway, but in 2009 this changed dramatically.

For the first time in history, Norwegian authorities changed the terms of immigration targeting a specific group of refugees whose homeland situation had not changed. In addition, the current policy clearly opposes the recommendations of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

Norwegian authorities presently consider Palestinian territories to be safe enough for refugees to return. Simultaneously a number of factors indicate the opposite. First, Palestinian refugees have their own memories and experiences that can easily be backed up by witness descriptions, mainstream news media and general knowledge about the area.

Second, Norwegian authorities discourage Norwegians to travel to these areas (http://www.norway.org.ps/Norsk/Reiserad/). Third, international human rights organizations criticize Palestinian authorities for disregarding human rights.

Konsekvensene av at forumet er delt:

1. Flere lamere som poster useriøse poster

2. "Starcraft chit chat" er full av møkk

3. "Starcraft the game" er nesten dødt pga de fleste nickfaker og lamer i "Starcraft chit chat"

4. Blir slitsomt å sjekke to forumer så de fleste driter i den ene.
