Across Pakistan, many students with physical, sensory, or learning differences continue to face barriers in accessing equal educational opportunities. Schools often lack accessible infrastructure, trained support staff, and awareness programs that promote acceptance and inclusion.

Inclusive education is closely linked to students’ emotional well-being, confidence, and social development. Research shows that when schools provide supportive and inclusive environments, all students benefit through improved empathy, collaboration, and academic engagement.

This petition highlights the need to strengthen inclusive practices in schools so that every learner can participate fully, safely, and with dignity.

We want a Mexican adaptation of Lena Dunham's "Girls"

We’re starting this petition because we truly believe a Mexican adaptation of Girls would make sense creatively and culturally. Mexico City feels like the right place for it. It's the most populated city in all of north america with a population of 22 million people. It’s intense, ambitious, artistic, chaotic, and full of young people trying to build lives for themselves. So many young adults here are balancing unstable jobs, big dreams, complicated friendships, family pressure, and identity in a city that both inspires and overwhelms you. That kind of environment naturally fits the spirit of the original show, but with its own voice and cultural perspective. We believe Lena Dunham could collaborate with Mexican writers, directors, and actors to create something culturally specific and authentic. There is so much talent in Mexico and across Latin America that deserves more visibility, and a project like this could help shine a real spotlight on it. There are already many fans who want to see this happen. At the same time, a Mexican adaptation could connect with an entirely new audience. Young adults in Mexico and throughout Latin America would finally see their own experiences reflected in a story like this, which could expand the show’s reach in a meaningful way. This is merely a suggestion, but if it gets enough attention, perhaps we could get Lena to consider this :) Viva Mexico!!

Apoya la Igualdad Plena y los Derechos Civiles para los Ciudadanos Americanos en Puerto Rico

"La democracia no es un destino, es un derecho que debe ser igual para todos o no es democracia."

Durante más de 120 años, los ciudadanos americanos que nacen o residen en Puerto Rico han vivido bajo una bandera que los protege, pero que no los representa plenamente. Han servido en las guerras de Estados Unidos con honor y valentía, han contribuido a la economía y la cultura de esta gran nación, y han jurado lealtad a una Constitución que, sin embargo, los trata como ciudadanos de segunda clase.

Hoy, 3.2 millones de almas—seres humanos con sueños, familias y esperanzas—viven en lo que muchos llaman "la colonia más antigua del mundo". No pueden votar por el Presidente de los Estados Unidos. No tienen un solo senador ni representante con voto pleno en el Congreso que decide las leyes que rigen sus vidas. Y a pesar de contribuir al sistema federal, reciben menos beneficios en salud y programas sociales que cualquier estado de la unión.

Esta no es una queja política. Es un clamor por justicia. Es una demanda de igualdad.

Por eso, nos unimos para apoyar a la Puerto Rico Equality Foundation, una organización sin fines de lucro fundada en Florida por ciudadanos comprometidos con la dignidad de sus hermanos en la isla. Su misión es educar, investigar y abogar por políticas públicas que garanticen que ser puertorriqueño no signifique ser menos americano.

No pedimos caridad. Pedimos lo que nos corresponde por derecho: igualdad plena, representación justa y respeto a nuestra ciudadanía.

Hoy, al firmar esta petición, no solo alzamos la voz por Puerto Rico. Alzamos la voz por el principio fundamental sobre el que se fundó esta nación: que todos los seres humanos son creados iguales, y que todos los ciudadanos americanos merecen los mismos derechos, sin importar el código postal donde residan.

Que la historia recuerde este momento como el punto de inflexión. Que la justicia, finalmente, llegue a Puerto Rico.

Save Rossbeigh Beach

In recent years, Rossbeigh Beach has experienced increased and dramatic sand loss; Rossbeigh dunes are eroding at a much faster rate than comparable beaches in Kerry. With much of the beach now only usable at low tides, we are bracing for a loss in tourism which will impact local businesses. If erosion continues at this rate the loss of Rossbeigh will leave shorelines at Cromane, Dooks, Glenbeigh and beyond exposed to much harsher sea states and impact the safety of those communities. Rossbeigh is a legendary ancient landscape and a rare and rich coastal habitat which we should protect for future generations.

While they enable freedom of expression and participation, they also facilitate the spread of harassment, disinformation, coordinated manipulation, and abusive behavior carried out under false or anonymous identities.
Existing EU legislation such as the Digital Services Act focuses primarily on content moderation and platform responsibility, but does not sufficiently address the issue of accountability of individual user identities.

A lack of reliable identity verification makes it difficult to prevent repeated abuse, targeted harassment, foreign influence operations, and the misuse of social media for criminal or anti-democratic purposes.

This petition aims to raise public awareness and to call on EU institutions to consider an EU-wide, harmonized approach to user verification on social media platforms, while respecting data protection, privacy, and fundamental rights under EU law.

Justice for Our Family: Drop the Charges & Grant a Pardon

We are writing this petition as grieving parents, not criminals.

On 5-27-25, our beloved child tragically lost his life in an accident that has shattered us beyond words. Instead of being supported in our mourning, we have been charged with serious crimes. We are now calling on the people, the legal system, and the Governor of North Carolina to recognize the deep injustice being done to our family.

We respectfully ask Governor Josh Stein to grant us a full and immediate pardon. We need healing—not punishment. We need compassion—not criminalization. Families across this country deserve protection, not prosecution, in times of loss. What happened to us could happen to any parent. And no one should face prison time for a tragic accident that stole their child away.
