Releasing of all Fixed Deposits (FDs) stuck at DHFL on humanitarian grounds

Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Ltd. (DHFL) is a deposit-taking housing finance company, headquartered in Mumbai with branches in major cities across India.

In 2019, DHFL stopped payment of bonds and defaulted on its loan obligations. This caused its stock to fall over 97% and a government intervention in the company
In August 2019, as efforts to draft a resolution plan by restructuring DHFL debt into equity, a few of the DHFL bond holders moved to the debt recovery tribunal, which could impact the resolution process.[20] The company meanwhile offered to repay all investors in full with due process of inter-creditor-agreement.
In October 2019, the Enforcement Directorate conducted raids at several places of DHFL offices and promoter residences and found links of money laundering activity in loans given to firms closely linked to the promoters of the company.[22] Additionally the trail of the loan given by DHFL to Sunblink real estate in 2010 lead to gangster Iqbal Mirchi, an accomplice of the organized crime mastermind Dawood Ibrahim.
On 20 November 2019, under Section 45-IE (I) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934, the Indian central bank removed the board of directors of Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Limited (DHFL). The reasons cited by the banking regulator for the dismissal of the DHFL board of directors were: inadequate governance and the various defaults on its payment obligations.
On 27 January 2020, the promoter of DHFL, Kapil Wadhawan was arrested under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The arrest was connected to his firm's alleged involvement in providing loans to the organized criminal enterprise of Dawood Ibrahim. On 22 February 2020, the PMLA court granted bail to Kapil Wadhwan. The Bombay high court upheld the bail decision by PMLA court, rejecting Indian Enforcement Directorate requests to stay the bail application.
The ED has linked Yes Bank for various fraud and transactions amounting to 3700 crores as debentures in DHFL. The central bank appointed administrator at Dewan Housing Finance (DHFL) has ordered a transaction audit at the non-bank lender after allegations of money laundering surfaced in the aftermath of the regulatory action on Yes Bank.

Appeal For Relief For The Poorest Of The Poor At The Time Of Pandemic

The following statistics (if statistical data are to be believed!) of India speaks for itself about the condition of the country. It has worsened during the catastrophic situation due to COVID-19 outbreak:
1.	Population: 135.26 crores and still counting (May 2020)
2.	Hunger Index: rank 102 out of 117 qualifying countries (2019)
3.	Unemployment rate: 8.74% of the population (2020)
4.	GDP growth rate: 1.9% post-lockdown (2020), following global recession
5.	Happiness Index: rank 140 out of 156 countries (2019)
6.	Corruption Index: rank 80 out of 180 countries (2020)
7.	Informal sector workers: 93% of the total workforce (2019)
8.	Availability of Hospital beds: 0.055 per 1,000 population (2020)
9.	Malnourished population: 195.9 million malnourished people (2015-17); one-third of the world's malnourished children belong to India.
10.	Carbon Footprints: emission of 2,299 million tonnes of Carbon Dioxide (2018)
11. Poverty index: rank 49. Two-thirds of people in India live in poverty: 68.8% of the Indian population lives on less than $2 a day. Over 30% even have less than $1.25 per day. More than 36 crore Indians still cannot afford three square meals a day. India had 73 million people living in extreme poverty which makes up 5.5% of its total population. India's top 1% owns half of national wealth.
12. External Debt is nearly about Rupees 86 trillion (as on 02/05/2020)! (However, Indian Government has written off the astronomical figure of money, 68,607 crores owed by the super-rich people at the time of international crisis.)
13. Defense Budget: The union government allocated Rs 3.37 lakh crore as the defense budget for the financial year 2020-21.

India is a victim of Lawrence Summers’ (chief economist of the World Bank 1991-93) memo "Let Them Eat Pollution". Majority of Indians have lost their herd immunity for consuming spurious products of so-called Green Revolution (empirical data not available).

Keeping in mind the above scenario, this appeal is made to the Government of India for relieving the poorest of the poor at the time of COVID-19 crisis.

AN URGENT APPEAL TO THE PRESIDENT OF INDIA: FIXED DEPOSIT HOLDERS OF DHFL

In 2019, Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Limited (DHFL), an AAA-rating shadow banking company, stopped payment of fixed deposits, bonds and also defaulted on its loan obligations.
In August 2019, while efforts were being made for preparing a draft resolution plan by restructuring DHFL debt into equity, a few of the DHFL bond holders moved to the debt recovery tribunal, which impacted the resolution process. On February 22, 2020, the PMLA court granted bail to Kapil Wadhawan due to lack of evidence. The Bombay High Court upheld the bail decision by PMLA Court, rejecting Indian Enforcement Directorate's (ED) requests to stay the bail application.
During this resolution process under the apt guidance of the Reserve Bank of India, the Fixed Deposit holders’ investments are blocked and the future of the FD holders is bleak.

Justice for Animals

There are many people who are criticising animals in our Country i e. India ..as we can see in many parts of India, ther are many stray pets, we should adopt and give them home ...They need love , I choose this Petition : Justice for Animals because i think animals are always made with love by God , so they have their rights to enjoy their life peacefully as this World is also theirs.

Every day, countless cats, dogs and other animals suffer and die at the hands of the very people who are supposed to care for and protect them. Physical violence, emotional abuse and life-threatening neglect are daily realities for many animals. Their only hope is that a kind person will speak up before it’s too late.Animal hoarders are not merely people who have a few too many animals – they are individuals whose mental illness or compulsion can cause criminal behaviour with horrific consequences for animals, the hoarders’ families and their communities. Hoarders exist in virtually every community and include members of every socio-economic status, gender and education level. An increasingly common and disturbing trend involves hoarders who operate under the guise of being “shelters” or “rescues”. Hundreds of sick, starved, wounded, dying and dead animals have been found in raids of such institutional hoarding facilities. For everyone’s safety, it’s vital for law-enforcement officials and communities to treat cases of cruelty to animals seriously and to ensure that animal abusers are appropriately prosecuted and sentenced.
Thank You

Cancel 12th and 10th board retests

The (CBSE) board exam students will have to take Class 10 mathematics and Class 12 economics exams again, as the board has decided to reconduct these tests after reports of paper leak, said CBSE board on Wednesday.
According to Times Of India,
The HRD minister assured that "a strong mechanism will be put in place to prevent such incidents from taking place in the future".
Here's the link:
https://m.timesofindia.com/india/cbse-paper-leak-pm-modi-speaks-to-hrd-minister-demands-strict-action/articleshow/63516422.cms
I question, "why it wasn't put earlier, that strong fullproof mechanism"?
There were rumours about leaking of accountancy papers too, why didn't they took any actions regarding that?
Its not our fault that papers are getting leaked, its the fault of the CBSE board members and the culprits involved. Even after such a strong security arrangement, papers are getting leaked. Why the rest of us should suffer for someone else's irresponsiblity. What about our hardwork that we did for the economics examination that held on 26th March, 2018.
Moreover, economics examination went well for more than 70% students.
And now, after all our hard work and a well went examination, we have to Appear for a retest.

Protect Our Children As You Protect Our Borders

Recent incidents of child sexual abuse in schools across India have proven that schools are educational institutions and not security experts. Law enforcement catch criminals and legal system provides justice. The need for a airtight, no nonsense security is the need of the hour. Who is the best qualified to protect the future of our future generations than the armed forces of the country they protect on a daily basis without incidents . The ones sworn to protect our country should be the same ones to protect our children. Which is why a separate department directly under our armed forces should be created which designs and sets school security, provides trained personnel and executes the SOP reporting directly to the Commander In Chief of our country.
Calling this Act as "The Pradhuman Act" in memory of the 7 yr old boy killed by a sexual offender in Gurgaon, India in September 2017.
As a parent of two children i plead you to give me a peaceful night's sleep knowing that our soldiers are protecting my children while they are being educated and being watched over by The President of my country.

A seven-year-old boy was today found dead inside the washroom of the Gurgaon-based Ryan International School. The Class II boy's body was discovered by a fellow school student at around 8 am in the morning - the boy was found with his throat slit and a knife near his body. After 24 hours police arrests a conductor who confesses about the brutal act. But we believe this is incorrect and conductor is just framed and demand to request a CBI enquiry for this case. A 6 year boy was found dead in the water tank in the same school one year ago and no motive or killer was found. A CBI enquiry will help to uncover all the facts . Here is the link to that brutal incident - http://indiatoday.intoday.in/story/gurgaon-7-year-old-boy-murder-throat-slit-ryan-international-school-pradyuman-thakur/1/1043732.html

STOP ANIMAL CRUELTY

Many cases of animal cruelty have been seen in past few days in India wherein dog was burnt alive just for gaining fame on YouTube and in another case, dog was thrown from the roof of the college.
The most renowned institute in Jaipur, MNIT has crossed all the limits of animal cruelty. From last three days, dogs are being killed in the campus by the staff members. Some dogs were brutally beaten and some were tied with iron wires and left for death. This is the most inhuman act one can do on innocent animals.
