This petition comes from Kairos Palestine and its partner movements, Global Kairos for Justice.
In December 2018—inspired by the Kairos Palestine document and representing a broad spectrum of organizations, faith communities and other groups—people from around the world gathered in Bethlehem Palestine to further the Kairos call for an end to the State of Israel’s oppression of the Palestinian people and its occupation of Palestinian territories. With love as its logic, the call is grounded in nonviolent resistance to oppression and violations of human rights.

May 15 marks the anniversary of the Nakba. In this petition, Global Kairos for Justice, a partner of Kairos Palestine, asks to the world to support its call to action, to sign the petition and to be partners in local and regional events on or around May 15, 2019. As the prophet Isaiah wrote, “Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed.” (Isaiah 1:17)

Free Gaza!! Petition For Cease Fire!!

Since the 27th of December 2008, there has been constant attacks on the Palestinian people living in Gaza. The Israeli government has been planning a genocide for the last five months and is executing that plan now.

As you see history is being repeated in the most vicious way. Innocent children and civilians are dying by the hundreds each day and all anyone hears is praise for the Israeli soldiers for executing innocent lives. Imagine that they were targeting Australia and all around you, people and children are dying and you can not receive any medical help or any support from anyone. This is what is happening.

Please, Australia is a fair and loving country and i know that these images are very disturbing and i know that we will all stand behind the Australian Government as one to call a cease fire. Please look into your hearts and see that this is a crime against humanity.

Please sign this petition to show your support for an immediate end to the collective punishment of the residents of Gaza as a result of Israel’s ongoing siege. Since Saturday, the bombings by the Israeli military have murdered more than 345 people and injured 1,450 more. An offensive on the ground is imminent. Show your support--- end the massacres, end the genocide!

This petition will be sent to president-elect Barack Obama, as well as Pennsylvania state senators and congressional representatives.

Support Children in Jordan Valley

For generations, long before the 1967 war that led to the occupation of the West Bank, the Bedouins let their sheep graze on their land, in the north of the Jordan Valley. These shepherds are very poor. But they do not complain.

The difficulties for the inhabitants began in the 1970s, when the village was declared a closed Israeli military zone. Some years later the Jewish settlements of Ro’i and Beka’ot were founded in the east of their land. Since then, Israel has imposed harsh restrictions on building and movement there that apply to Palestinians, effectively pushing them to leave area.

As of December 27, 2008, Gaza strip has been bombarded by indiscriminate Israeli bombing, which has caused the deaths of many innocent civilians.

In the following day, CNN has reported that the "second day of aerial attacks brought the death toll in Gaza close to 300. Hundreds more people have been injured."

Under occupation for about 60 years which is by the way my age. Human rights are violated and the world is mute and deaf about what is happening in this area. I am a retired teacher, a mother of three kids, all are married, a grandmother of six cute kids. I am anxious to see them live in peace and security.
