Prayer back in School

On June 25, 1962 prayer was taken out of the American school system. Since, not only schools but our nation has fallen to chaos. The pregnancy rate for 1962 was 5000 girls under the age of eighteen on 1963 those numbers jumped to over 27000 girls.

Morals have declined in schools and our nation examples are stabbings, shootings, teachers having sexual relations with students, drug abuse and these are just some. We need prayer not only for our schools but our Nation, the finiancal state of affairs and our peace with one another.

Buddha has attained enlightenment and is a revered figure for millions of people around the world. It is utterly inappropriate to use Buddha's pictures or anything relating to Buddhism as footwear. It is downright rude, disrespectful and insulting to Buddhism and all Buddhists across the world. It shows how ignorant and discriminatory ICON Shoes is to its worldwide consumers who may hold different religious views.

Support Women Bishops - Laity

This petition is a result of wishing to support a similar petition signed by women clergy to the House of Bishops in the Church of England calling for the legislation for women bishops to be free from discrimination.

The women clergy petition was sent in May 2008 and there has been substantial pressure from lay people to conduct a similar exercise.

Under the current interpretation of Israeli law, Messianic Jews (Jews who believe Yeshua (Jesus) is Messiah) are the only group within Judaism whose members are NOT allowed to become Israeli citizens.

Currently, there are approximately 300,000 Messianic Jews in the world who are among the staunchest supporters of the Nation of Israel.

Individuals in solidarity with the GAFCON Jerusalem Statement and Declaration

In June 2008 the Global Anglican Future Conference took place within the context of a pilgrimage to Jerusalem.

GAFCON was organized in response to the spread of wrongful theological teachings and practices within the Anglican Communion, demonstrated and symbolised by the ordination and consecration of people in active same-sex relationships and the formal blessing of same-sex unions, though by no means confined to these issues.

At the end of the Conference the Jerusalem Statement and Declaration were issued, which may be found here, and should be read before signing this petition.

On the 1st July 2008, two meetings took place at All Souls Church, Langham Place, England, the first for incumbents and other church leaders in the Church of England, the second particularly for members of Parochial Church Councils.

Arising from this, it was decided that an online petition should be made available for individuals and groups such as PCCs to indicate to the wider Anglican community the degree of support there is for the GAFCON movement within England.

Stop Violence in the Name of Religion

Violence in the name of religion still persists. Just a few days before Christmas, in the Indonesian City of Bekasi, another Church was attacked on Dec 18th 2009 (Santo Albertus Church, Bekasi).

Our Government and officials are unable to curb such acts of violence, clearly for lack of the political will.

Need support from the Global Community to pressurize our Government through the Indonesian Embassies/Missions in your respective countries. Shalom Salaam Sadhu Shanti..

Stop government-sanctioned suppression of religious freedom in Azerbaijan

There is overwhelming evidence that the institutions of the state of Azerbaijan are being used to perpetrate injustice and suppress a peaceful religious minority, which does no harm to the daily life of the nation.

While the capital city of Azerbaijan, Baku, hosted the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, a showcase to improve its Government’s international image, suppression of and discrimination against a small minority of Protestant Christians is going unheeded.

Such suppression persists in many forms, including laws and judicial decisions which, in their conception or enforcement, are neither general nor neutral. Numerous court cases have demonstrated that the Azerbaijani courts have allowed themselves to be used as tools of the Government in its repression of the media, opposition and civic society.

On 25 April 2012, a Court in Azerbaijan ordered closure of the Greater Grace Protestant Church in Baku. The Court’s decision was based on the allegation that the Church failed to re-register its license, despite the fact that all necessary papers were submitted by the Church in good time. The decision of the Court means that any activity the Church engages in would be illegal and subject to severe punishment. This forced liquidation of a religious group in the country came as a result of the harsh new Religion Law which was passed in 2009.

The decision means there will be no freedom of religion in Azerbaijan without state authorization. The first minority already affected is Protestant Christians and it means that all religious activities by Greater Grace Protestant Church members and other churches will be deemed illegal in the future.

While taking legal action against the Church, the Government authorities have also committed serious breaches of procedural law of the state. The decision of the Court was made despite these breaches.

Discontinue the Innovation Conferences

It appears that for the time being the Annual National Conference on Innovation has been discontinued. It is unknown whether this annual training event will reappear again in the future under a different name. But praise be to the Lord Jesus Christ that at least for now, there are no more scheduled meetings. Thank you for all of you who have prayed for godly revival and reformation to take place. We must continue to be diligent people of prayer, for the devil is continuing to try to weaken and bring compromise into God's remnant church. There are still other venues in which Emergent presenters are invited to speak to God's people. Let us address each of these situations with Christlike tactfulness, and forthright effort.

Stop Promoting Satanism in South Africa

Christianity is the dominant religion in South Africa, with almost 80% of the population in 2001 professing to be Christian. No single denomination predominates, with mainstream Protestant churches, Pentecostal churches, African initiated churches, and the Catholic Church all having significant numbers of adherents. Importantly, there is significant and sustained syncretism with African Traditional Religion among most of the self-professed Christians in South Africa.

Of the total national population of 44.8 million, 35.8 million or 79.8% identified as members of a Christian denomination. According to Wikipedia the 2001 Census (2011 Census did not ask about religion) there are currently 35,765,251 Christians in The Rainbow Nation, making SA one of the leading nations still following Jesus Christ.

However - There are certain Blasphemous Media/Music/Event Organisations and venues corrupting the minds of individuals by letting Blatant Satanic International Artists/Bands come to our Beautiful country and perform, spreading their filthy message to their following and glorifying Devils/Demons. This "right" which they label as "Freedom of Speech" and "Constitutional Law" and the uprising in Record Labels/Event Companies completely undermines the majority and ethical values our "fair" nation stands for and abolishes the Christian values our forefathers and leaders took generations to build to create Freedom in SA.

By Venues allowing these organisations to book events on their premises and blaspheme God openly, promotes pure evil Hate Speech. If we can't shut these companies down completely, then let's stand together to slow them down at least and urge the venues to cancel booked Satanic events and discourage more Sacrilegious artist from arriving on our shores to pollute the minds of our youth. After Comedy Central cut a portion of a South Park episode following a death threat from a Muslim group, Seattle cartoonist Molly Norris wanted to counter the fear. She has declared May 20th "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day."

Norris told KIRO Radio's Dave Ross that cartoonists are meant to challenge the lines of political correctness. "That's a cartoonist's job, to be non-PC."
Producers of South Park said Thursday that Comedy Central removed a speech about intimidation and fear from their show after a Muslim group warned that they could be killed for insulting the Prophet Muhammad.

The group said it wasn't threatening South Park producers Trey Parker and Matt Stone, but it included a gruesome picture of Theo Van Gogh, a Dutch filmmaker killed by a Muslim in 2004, and said the producers could meet the same fate. The website posted the addresses of Comedy Central's New York office and the California production studio where South Park is made.

"As a cartoonist I just felt so much passion about what had happened I wanted to kind of counter Comedy Central's message they sent about feeling afraid," Norris said.

Norris has asked other artists to submit drawings of any religious figure to be posted as part of Citizens Against Citizens Against Humor (CACAH) on May 20th.
