Seeing others and interacting with others removes the ability of the mind and socialization to create separation between the self and individuals outside of the normal scope of interaction. In an environment where there is distrust between different population groups as well as distrust between public government officials and civil servants it is undoubtedly a positive advancement to create a cultural event that crosses lines. In America, our churches may be segregated but our entertainment venues are not (excepting price and economic barriers) and this would create a wonderful venue for the interactions we desperately need to both stave off the change of future incidents and to repair some of the harm done in the past and to lower the tensions present in the present.
