Ms. Jordan Luster, Dickson, TN, United States of America
I feel like I'm made to be a Navy SEAL. Right now? I'm just a frail band kid. But if I truly want something, I'll get it. I want to be a Navy SEAL. I'm not meant to be some little fairy-tale girl. I need to be doing something worthwhile.
This stupid gender in-equality thing needs to be changed.

Anonymous, California, United States of America
Women should at least be able to try out for the SEALS. Most men who try out don't make it, but no one stops them. So why stop us? Does it really matter what gender you are? If you mentally and physically then you should be able to be whatever you want to be. The Military should not discriminate against women. Its wrong and reflects poorly on them. If a women can pass the test, then why not let her in. It obviously shows she cable. Its time for a change.

Yes I understand it is to "protect" us in some cases, but we should be allowed to do whatever job we want in the military as men are allowed to do.

Anonymous, Pennsylvania, United States of America
It's ridiculous that women aren't allowed to protect their country the same way men are. Women are just as tough as guys specially when they are properly trained. As for the whole women being a distraction excuse. that's crap! If ANY one in your squad or team gets injured of course you're going to try and help them! I don't care if they're male or female. There is no good reason that women shouldn't be allowed to fight.
