I am going through this difficult task at the moment myself. I have a night time job, and there is no available day care that is affordable for me. So now I must find a daytime job to keep my daughter in head start.

I work for a Utlity company in Central Jersey and no matter the weather. We have to work, it is very tough to find a good day care provider that works past 6pm. With the current economy we have to work over time and double shifts. But some of us cant due to child care situations.

I feel in order to maintain employment, childcare needs to meet the needs of families and their employers. At this point, the traditional hours do not. Please consider expanding days and hours offered to meet the needs of all families in the state.
