He shot and killed an armed terrorist on the field of battle. If the position had been reversed the terrorist would have no hesitation in killing the marine. The terrorist is now with Allah in heaven so should have no complaints. Various governments, aided by human rights legislation have turned the police into a branch of social services instead of an active crime fighting organisation and the armed forces will go down the same route if this type of thing continues. The top brass who agree with the sentence should hang their heads in shame.

Put these mad dogs out of their misery, take no prisoners, if the role was reversed they would have got the camcorder out and filmed him having his head cut off. This man should not spend one minute in a cell. Do something prime minister, Speak to the Queen. Start standing up for the people that are risking their lives for this country, before you sit down and have your Sunday lunch.
