Developers have no interest in supporting the community. Which is highlighted by the timing and lack of details of the proposed development.

This is yet another example of poor decision making from our wonderful Victoria Park major Trevor Vaughan. First it's paid parking, then volunteering amalgamation. I can't wait for the next election!

These community owned assets are VITAL to our community and clearly undervalued by the Town of Vic Park.

Please, let's instead make inexpensive changes that will infante our town centre. A simple amphitheatre at John MacMillan Park, pathways connecting the ammenities, better access to the rec centre from the park and a nature play ground. These can be achieved with little funds.

With the fridg night hawkers makerkets and the Sunday farmers markets we are only just beginning to understand how we can better use OUR space. How about Saturday night family movie night? Or a Thursday night local acoustic music night?

Please don't sell off OUR land. It's not the right way to go about building a strong community town centre.

It needs to be preserved. Also the park is a vibrant part of East Vic Park. The markets on Friday night and Sunday morning have bought a new vitality to the area where families come together to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Adding more houses will only make the area more densely populated with no place for much needed activities and social interaction.

No contract with Landcorp should be entered into at this point in time. We should not sell this land without any guarantee about the redevelopment outcome including impact on green space and community facilities, and particularly not at this bargain price.
