I have been traveling to the outer banks fishing since I was a kid, and each year more and more fishing access is closed to us fishermen and women. There is no excuse to close off both the inlets on Ocracoke Island. This year the north end was completely closed off. The damm birds have plenty of beach and islands to habitate without having to close off the best fishing areas. Plus now we are having to pay to drive on the beach, "what a joke" we are having to pay and cant even fish the best areas or fish at night in some areas. Move the turtle eggs and hatch them to release into the wild. The turttles have the whole freaking eastern seaboard to nest. Quit closing off our public beaches and reopen them to fishermen. Quit letting tree hugging "PETA Nazis" make the calls.

We now have 3 generations going there.
We enjoy driving out to Cape Point and fishing. The past few years have been a disapointment to us with all the beach closing and new rules. The fee for the permit to drive on the beach for 1 week is too high.
This year we have planned to only take one week at OBX instead of 2. And that week will be in October when we hope the beach will be open. The ONLY reason we go to OBX is to enjoy Cape Point!!!
