Because they reduce my safety? Arguably, so do seat belts in some cases. As do amish buggies on the road. Yet, neither of these are illegal? Window tints cause no harm to other drivers on the road, and they are a form of privacy. It is a violation of the privacy act to disallow the use of window tints. I demand the choice to tint my windows for my own preference and privacy.

In fact, due to glare reduction, I'm sure you will find that window tints are safer.

If you want to have control over criminals receiving tint on their vehicle, government should hold a background check when getting tint, and allow certain percentage to what their background. For instance, if you're clean, go to a good college, etc., you should be allowed to have limo, but if you have robbed a store or commited any felony, no tint should be allowed. I have limo tint on my car, and it's not coming off. We only live once boss.
