I have family living there now. Through the entire confederate flag debate in our country, I have reflected on Stonewall Jackson High School, as it was known when I lived there. It is disgraceful that it would continue today. The time is now to start putting race and differences behind us and become a country of one people - all equal. It is 2015! Put the civil war memorabilia in a museum where it belongs. Change the name of Stonewall Jackson Middle School to one that more accurately applies to the students that attend it.
