Education to pregnate mothers is in order. It should be manatory during the 9 months medical appointments. Nutrition should also be taught in the K-12 years so everyone knows the cause and effect. Children who are obese have a higher likelyhood of developing life-threatening diseases such as high cholestrol, diabetes, and heart disease. They can also experience emotional and social issues. Allowing your child to become obese is harmful to a childs health and should be prosecuted as abuse. After all, a child can not chose what it eats that is the parents job.
