We have many friends and acquaintances located at Stop 2. The Randall's property is familiar to me, and prior to knowing them when walking in their neighborhood, I asked myself how it was the owners of these two parcels were able to access their homes in the summer? Then I met them and discovered they were full-time residents. How were they able to access the property in the snow?

We have since moved east along Lake Shore Drive to Stop 40 in Michigan. One of the reasons were decisions by the local governments, city and county, that continually fell short, and left some taxpayers and property owners disenfranchised of their property rights.

There is no excuse for the busiest section of the lakefront outside of Washington Park to have such a shortfall in design, as well as a clear safety hazard. Please repair this section of the lakefront, complete the road and EMT access and make the Randalls and their neighbors whole once again.

I believe stronly in Safety. At the current time if there was an emergency there would be no way for first responders to efficiently respond to the emergency. Not only would this Benefit the current residents it Benefits all residents that use the current path for.beach access. This will beautify the area, provide a safe walkway, and will help keep invasive species from ruining the Dunes and Beach we all love and take care of.
