If they would have picked up the phone and attempted to actually contact me, the entire situation could have been avoided. Power off, figured out what the problem was on their awful customer support, and given a "24 hour window" of power restoration. They shut off my power in 5 seconds, but can't turn it back on for 24 hours. Pretty silly - there needs to be better management of FPL.

Monopolies are ILLEGAL for a reason, since a monopoly controls all sources of a product or service, they can decide to put outrageous prices, have substandard costumer service, and apply hidden charges without being penalized, boycotted, or challenged.
