Three generations of my family, my father, I and my son are victims of Parental Alienation (PA). I have 52 years of personal experience; my deceased father's pain; my pain and suffering; my son's unconscious pain and suffering. I have been living with that painful experience for the last nine years!
When I try to tell my story, most fail to grasp the concept of PA and show any empathy; few understand but are unable to quantify the pain; even fewer can find a practical way to change the circumstance. IGNORANCE AND APATHY only compounds the pain!

France, U.K, Ireland (and soon to be Whales) have criminalized emotional and psychological abuse.

The U.S. must not continue to turn a blind eye to this horrific torture and abuse done to children and must also condemn the emotional and psychological terrorism done on the targeted parent who has no way to protect his/her child/children from this destructive behavior.

There was not one issue my former husband didn't fight me about. For the last 22 years he has used every psychological tool in his box of tools to poison my children against me. My adult children are now 45 and 36 both have been divorced and remarried and have one child each. Because of his poisonous attitude towards me they both have rejected me. I am in therapy now trying to emotionally and physically learn to understand and improve this situation the best I can. If our divorce had been divided fairly 50/50 I don't think I would have ever been alienated from my adult children.

Imagine a life of constant drama, conflict and being afraid of not having a relationship with the other parent.

Its the same cycle of domestic abuse however Law Enforcement not a resource, attorneys and courts not a resource we live with the abuse every day.

My story, my oldest has no contact with me, my two girls limited contact our relationship has been severely damaged and the youngest wants a relationship with me but struggles because he doesn't want to upset his father.

We are encourage to keep fighting, I'm 4 years in this "fight". I have chosen not to because my children are the victims, me fighting for a relationship with them causes conflict, pain and the other parent to escalate.

I love them too much to allow them to be used against me.
