My name is Carl Beiser and I have the misfortune of living on the unpaved section of Gilmour Lane. When we purchased our home in 2007, the realtor purposely misled us by stating the road would be paved in the Spring 2008. Five years later, it remains unkempt. My wife and I would have never purchased our home knowing the road would not be paved. The road is constantly full of potholes, turns sloppy and "washboards" during rains, and makes it impossible to keep vehicles clean, not to mention dwellings of all kinds. The road is grated infrequently, and most of the time remains in poor condition. The upcoming spring thaw will heave the road, and exacerbate existing potholes in the "paved" section, which is also less-than-desirable condition. Something needs to be done to fix the road because it detracts from the neighborhood and general maintenance is long overdue. Overall, the condition of Gilmour Lane is completely unacceptable. I look forward to discussing solutions to improve the condition of our quiet neighborhood.
