ms carol ainsworth, norwich, norfolk, United Kingdom
I consider the revised planning application still does not address the concerns which were raised originally. I believe that the proposed 94 bed home will cause an unacceptable increase in traffic in this predominantly residential area.

Mrs Natasha Santos, Norwich
1. Concerns about traffic increases. Also unsocial hours of this as care home staff have early/late shift patterns possibly disruptive for residents. NOT just the 8-9am and 5-6pm as 'assumed' here, but 6-7am, 2-3pm and 9-11pm.
2. Concerns about residents' wellbeing (as previous care worker) - too high density, not enough activity rooms, all bedrooms few communal areas
3. What do fire service think about the traffic? Need to get statement from them.

MRS RACHEL HEEDS, norwich, norfolk, United Kingdom
This care home is going to be far too large. There is a need for more beds in care homes in general but there should not be so many on one site. Having worked as a care worker and a care staff co ordinator i feel that if a unit has 94 beds the residents will be being "managed" rather than being cared for. The inevitable result will be that fewer staff will be deemed necessary and residents will suffer. I also strongly agree with the points about road safety and emergency services.

mr jonathan heeds, norwich, norfolk, United Kingdom
I feel the scale of the proposal is innapropriate for ivy road and will cause major congestion, making it more difficult for the fire service to respond to emergencies. Having worked as a care worker for many years in a number homes i feel that the proposed number of beds is far too high for reasons of resident welfare and staffing levels. No care home should have that many beds no matter where it is.

Mrs Jemma Shuter, Norwich
I am worried of the increase in traffic, traffic leaving Ivy Road and turning right will possibly become a problem and also recently Bowthorpe road was flagged up in the Evening News Re: Traffic problems and speed of traffic. I am also worried about the possible increased useage in sirens from Fire Station

Mr John Clayton, Norwich, Norfolk, United Kingdom
I am happy for a care home but at 94 beds it is far too big, putting unacceptable pressure on Ivy Road and Bowthorpe Road. The access drive position should be moved away from the firestation for improved safety and to limit noise from fire engins.
