Not only do buyers hold all the power, but now they sit on the payments and even default since they know there is no consequence to their feedback rating. Sellers are held hostage and must do things even the retails chains would not do in order to keep their rating intact (such as return items even though it's explicitly noted in their auction that returns are not allowed - sold as is)

I recently assisted a co-worker selling a computer. We sold it elsewhere as we were scared to sell it on eBay due to so many scammer buyers (especially resellers). I feel like I have no recourse against some of these buyers and it keeps getting worse.
