Sorry to write this message in English as I speak only few words in Greek.
I am writing to complaint about one of your staff.
I have been using the ktel bus service since I arrived at your wonderful Island and it has been great but today I used the Bus from Perissa to Thira that left Perissa at around 19:40 to 19:45, express service.
I have entered at the second bus stop and bus was already full up. All seat were occupied and there were around 6 to 7 people already standing on the corridor. Despite that, the bus fare collector asking us to board the bus which we did, to my regret.
So now there were around 12-14 people standing inside the bus!
After awhile he started to collect the fare and was passing amongst the crammed standing people. When he arrived at me, and I was trying to pay, the bus stopped and someone from the back was trying to get off the bus and left an empty seat beside where I was standing. I was asking my wife to seat as she has mobility issues but the bus fare collector started to screaming at me and asking me to seat but I was going my give seat to my wife. She has a hip problem and is waiting for a hip replacement surgery. He was very rude and impolite and I asked him politely to calm down and he started to screaming even louder and swearing at me! This is not the way to treat a tourist. I was really disappointed as I have been travelling through Greece from Athens to Santorini for two weeks and was very welcome and treated with respect.
My wife didn't say anything, she just asked me to ignore him cause she noticed I started to get stressed and I have problems in the past to lose my temper and be violent. I am a peaceful guy but I am a black belt juitsu fighter.
Luckly I have managed to keep cool and just move back to the bus and kept quiet. He was actually pushing me by my shoulder!
But he continued to be agreessive and shouting to other people. One lady at one of the stops asked him if it was the bus to Thira and he started to screaming with her and been impolite.
My wife is a tourist guide in my country and she was gobsmacked by this person behaviour.
He is not prepared to work in a touristic place like Santorini.
He left me so much stress that I just went to my hotel, not even went out for dinner as planned. I was even contemplating in coming back later alone to the bus stop to speak to this man to man but I don't think he is worthy.
I was never impolite or talk loud to him. Neither used agreessive gestures like him.
I will leave a bad feedback about your service in every opportunity I have and so is my wife.
I am just hiring a car from tomorrow while staying in here. I was avoiding driving cause I am used to drive on the other side of the road. I will never used your service at any circumstance. I rather pay a taxi from now on.
The bus plate number is EMT 6655. I have also a copy of the tickets.

Just hope he will find angry tourist that have nothing to lose and smash his face.

Horrid experience of racism on KTEL today directed at two passengers. Completely soured our experience of Santorini, especially after the amazing encounters we had on other Greek islands.

Completely unacceptable behavior that should not be tolerated anywhere in the world.
