I would very much love it if you can make this book (and series) into a film and IF possible REMAKE ERAGON so the films can follow on properly and maybe split Inheritance into 2 films (as you would need too).

The problem with Eragon was that someone didn't follow the story line and therefore, missed out important information and if you re-invented Eldest (and the other books) then the story line will be just as bad!

Also, Eragon may not have been a 'box office hit' first time round because Harry Potter was too big!! - Why release a possible series of films during something that griped the whole world?! No-one at that time would be interested in getting into another film that comes away from Harry Potter. Also, unlike with Lord of the Rings - which had been a book for many years, Eragon didn't get enough publicity. Maybe next time include more 'famous' - Jeremy Irons as Brom - AMAZING!

There is now a space in the market for these books to be turned into films and for them to be a big hit!

So please, please, please think about doing it. The books are amazing!! And to see them on the 'big screen' would be Phenomenal!!!!!

Great books, really inpiring. Knocked spots off Lord of the Rings. (And to compare such a complex piece of writing to Star Wars is silly). In my opinion, the actors were really well chosen for the first Eragon film, so I hope the same ones would be in the second. But any second film needs to stick far more closely to the book, not try and cram too much of a long story into a short film, as this is where some of the magic was lost first time around.
