Mr David Herman, Woodstock, Va., United States of America
Have been boarding since 1964 (11years old) and at 60 still ride. We had the freedom when I was a kid to ride our bike on the sidewalk and our skate board too.The street was always a given for boards or bikes.. Of course we were taught to give right of way to pedestrians and walked our bike or palm our board if the sidewalk was to busy. I feel if the town is going to take the kids rights away to be a kid, then they should consider building them a skate board park. This would give the kids a place to be free and express them selves as we did 50 years ago. It would take care of the safety issues that the adults seem to be into today and return the rights of our kids to be kids.. Remember back when you were a kid and the freedom you had. Think about it..
Respectfully L David Herman
