Just because companies use different logos today doesn't mean that they need to be seen on shows that exsisted before all of today's fancy CGI logos were created! I also oppose companies (Especially Mongrel Media and Sony Classics) that plaster logos of foreign-based distributors and production companies! I support Miramax and Disney because they keep the foreign/old logos when they release foreign/old films (Except, for some strange reason, the Disney classic cartoons). I believe that old logos are a part of nostalgia, and that they represent the era that logo was made in. Logo plastering is pointless! We ALL know what your current logos are, so why do we need to see them on old movies! Bring back Viacom's V of Doom, Screen Gem's S of Hell, and all the other nostalgic logos from all over the world that we grew up with. My least favourite companies are Columbia Pictures, Tristar, Sony Classics and Sony Television, all because they plaster the logos of companies acquired/merged by the company!
