I no longer believe that America cannot remain safe and also allow the refugees to enter our country. Because of Rhode Island`s easy access to the oceanic ports, the Navy College, and Raytheon make Rhode Island a potential target. It has always been apparent that RI usually takes a democratic stance on this issue and never goes against a democratic president, however it is time to choose between your personal politics and the safety of your constitutes. Our state is already in debt, unemployment is high, and our state does not have enough resources to handle the surge of people. I know that not all refugees are terrorist, that most are hardworking individuals searching for the American dream. However if isis hides behind the refugees like the cowards we all know they are, and can get roots here. The police, who do a great job in keeping us safe, also do not have the resources to keep a 24 hour watch for isis. If you allow these refugees to relocate hear, as your being told to do then I fear that the American dream will become an American nightmare.
