If a criminal decides to charge at myself or others with the intent of doing serious harm and possibly death, police assistance is absolutly insufficent. Having a firearm on our persons at all times will deffinetly save lives. We are not criminals! We are the hard working, model citizens of Canada and without sufficent means of self-defence on a moments notice we will surely dwindle in numbers against the ruthlessness of said criminals. I understand and agree that high capacity semi-automatic firearms may be a risk to public saftey due to high rate of fire and more cartriges being discharged before the need to reload, I propose the revolver action for the following reasons: lower rate of fire, lower magazine capacity ( generally 6 cartriges), slower reload speed which helps to elimenate unnessary firing. I also firmly believe in the effectivness of concealed carry versus open carry, with open carry a criminal can visually see who is armed and who is not, with concealed carry that same criminal will not be able to tell who is armed or not and will probably play it safe and leave
