The junction onto the A30 is already very dangerous. Traffic would build up even more, not only on the A30 but back along the A331 towards the M3.

Lidl have their store, there is no need for it to be extended and attract more traffic into the Blackwater area. The size of the proposed development puts it on a par with the super stores which had to be build away from residential areas. There is not enough parking spaces to accommodate the amount of extra shoppers they are hoping to attract, the residential roads will become little more than an extended car park for the convenience of Lidl shoppers
