      <description><![CDATA[Anonymous, Singapore<p>I wanted to downgrade my plan from combo 12 to combo 6. Called in 1688 on the 5th or 8th May 2018. Was attended by the COS vinesh. Told him it is pointless for me to pay 300 dollars a months when combo 12 is 60% cheaper and with free talk time. He acknowledged and mentioned it will be done within next 24 hours. He also being nice tell me that he will check with his management to see if i can get my penatly waived.</p>

<p>1 week later no one call me back. I assumed the plan was downgraded and i spoke with the so call senior COS maddison and alvin. Both was speaking poor english language and attitude was very rude. Alvin immediately told me me that the waiver is a no no base on his decision. I disputed my case with him. Ending the conversation badly and i wish to speak to his manager. He said someone will call me back within next 2 days.</p>

<p>Weeks passed, i called in today upon a shock receiving my bill with a terror that no downgrade of plan was done. When i call in, the person i am sure is Maddison whom was very rude straight away tell me that waiver is still pending but doesnt mean someone will call me back within 2 days. I was so furious because he doesnt hear what i say. I am calling not because of the mere waiver. I asked why was my plan not downgraded. He unprofessionally mentioned because i didnt instruct them to do so. He claimed i did not instruct. I ask him to pull records from voice log and argue my case. He again doesnt listen and changed the angle to the waiver.</p>

<p>1) waiver is one issue<br />
2) downgrading should have been implemented whether or not with waiver. Singtel should carry out instructions and send me the total bill be it yes or no prior to the waiver.</p>

<p>I asked for his manager, he whether or not kept me on hold for 20 mins and say i will need to arrange for a call back.</p>

<p>This is very serious. Singtel as the top local telecom provider hiring punks acting like hooligans should be reviewed. Till now case is not solved.</p>]]></description>

I have booked a appointment on 09 March 2018 to install the Fiber broadband at my Parents house. But 09 March 2018, the Signtel technician did not bring the Fiber broadband modem. The technician called me and said that this modem was not indicated in their SingTel database therefore he did not bring to install. However, the technician connected the new Signtel optical network router to my old ADSL modem in order for the broadband to run. On the same day I called 1668 SingTel help line and they need 3 to 5 working days to find out what is happening. From 12 to 14 March 2018, I have been calling 1688 again & again to find out the status. But every time the answer was to wait for the SingTel sale team to respond. I went down to SingTel shop at Bugis and queue for 70 minutes but the staff can't help me. The Staff refer me back to 1688. Therefore, I called 1688 again and the answer still the same wait for sale team to respond. The funniest things is that on 15 March 2018 the 1688 SingTel person told me that their system is down so unable to check / track my record. Again SingTel person said will call me on 16 March 2018. I have no longer trusted SingTel anymore. I have been calling since 09 March 2018 to 15 March 2018 but SingTel staff answer from 1688 is to wait for sale team to respond. I am stuck here now because no one from SingTel is following up my issue. What I have told SingTel 1688 is to fix up the correct fiber modem/ equipment in my Parents house in order for my Fiber to run at a optimum speed. A simple job SingTel also can't follow up. Now I am paying for Fiber broadband service but currently did not get what I suppose to have. Who can help me now?</p>]]></description>

I took singtel iPhone 7 plus connection on 23rd October,2016. In this connection I have 700IDD calls monthly. So i started using the IDD call using 019. Then suddenly they disconnected my service on 17th Nov sighting reason high usage and the bill is over 600+. Then for the first month I paid the bill of 335 to get my connection back. Then they asked me to clear the upfront bill. Then i enquired about the bill and i asked them that i have not used so much how come the bill is so high. They told me that u will get ur bill on 12th December only but to get the connection u need to pay the amount upfront. So i decide not to pay the amount as long as i dont see my bill. When i saw my bill i found they have charged normal calls for IDD calls. I called to find out the reason then they informed me that you have to subscribe for IDD calls to avail the service.Now my concern is they have never informed me about the subscription when i took the connection.If i have not under IDD call subscription then in my bill how it is mentioned the all the calls falls under 019 but the amoun has been charged normal calls.If i have not subscriibed for 019 then what is 700IDD calls free on my</p>]]></description>

I did not know that I was not able to pay the bills until I receive their late charges letter. I check my mybills transactions history and found that I have 2 unsuccessful transactions. I call their hotline and that check that I have no Giro on demand service and I demanded and explanation about why it was cancel and they say will check and ger back to me after 3 days, mean while they send me a new Giro on demand form to fill up and resubmit to them if they need it. They ask me to pay my current and previous months and late charges bills through AXS machine and they will offset the late charges amount next bills. They also promise that the Giro on demand service will be reactivated next month. But after 2 months I still receive unpay bills and late charges letter. So I go check mybills and found out there is 3 unsuccesful transactions. I right a complain to them with the screenshot attach but no reply. I really cannot tolerate their lousy services kindly help to do something thank you.</p>]]></description>

Are they even doing their job? Is it only about the money? Up till now, they have yet to reply my complaint email. THEIR SERVICE SUCKS !! It has failed to cover all aspects when an existing customer switched plans package (Mio TV/Digital Line/Analog Line). We were out of using the digital home line for two weeks, no fax line being connected for 3 weeks, and constant drop of mobile connection in the house for more than 3 years.<br />
Even better, my mobile subscription was terminated by mistake, causing me out of reach for one day.<br />
No fair compensation was provided by Singtel for the inconvenience, mental stress, money (lots of overseas calls to made) and long hours speaking to the Singtel customer support.<br />
I sincerely hope IDA will review Singtel&#039;s standard. It&#039;s really a pity for a big singapore telecommunication brand putting Singapore to shame.</p>]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[Ms Jean Toh, Singapore<p>The 1200 characters comment limit is not enough for me to list all the grievances i suffered with Singtel, including counterfeit iphone and all the horribly irresponsible billing experiences and wrong instructions etc. Just an example, on Monday, i went to Singpost on Singtel instuction to return miotv, was asked to go to helloshop to get some information by Singpost after queuing up for so long, went back to Singpost, was asked to go back to helloshop by Singpost cos Singtel system doesn&#039;t allow the return from Singpost for my account although i went on Singtel instruction. Then while waiting for queue number at helloshop, i called Singtel hotline only to be told that particular helloshop cannot accept miotv when all i did was follow instruction to return a miotv i never signed up for and didn;t want in the first place but was told to just take it as it was free. And i was never informed that i had to return the miotv in the first place. There are more ludicrous example i can share. I think the problem lies with their management and internal process. It is a unbelievable and horrible company and i have no words to describle how amazingly appalled i am by this company ethics.</p>]]></description>
