It would be insulting to women to do so, and it is equally insulting to children to suggest we have to prove harm in order to justify extending to them the legal protection that we as adults take for granted from being deliberately assaulted."

A his young age of 4 he asked to speak to the judge, I made phone calls and numerous request on my sons behalf, no one listened, my son is now 10.and still in his sexual abusers care. We put alot on our children to "TELL" and when they do, no one listens, or at least not for the children in my home. The horrific situation in my case could have been avoided and should have been.

Children are people, and just like we must fight for equal rights for women, blacks, and gays, we must now fight for children. I can't stand to live in a country that denies basic human rights to any person, and I will not stop until Obama ratifies the CRC.
