Alumns without money are just given a pat on the head, but I have always been extremely grateful for Charles Wright and Bishop Paddox' words "dignity in poverty" because I have struggled with this my whole life. Luckily, the wealthy girls liked me and I was able to be myself with no shame. Cliques were not tolerated. All girls gave us intellectual and emotional freedom. Its extremely rare. There are only 29 all girl boarding schools left in the US and Canada. 29 holdouts! We pride ourselves in our unique heritage and 133 years of empowering women is nothing to change!!
