These punishments are way over the top and allow police to punish people before they are proven guilty in court. Too much power has been handed over to police and these new laws are very non-definitive, vague & open to interpretation which leads to them being given out to anyone and everyone who looks like a 'hoon' or drives a stereotypical 'hoon's car' regardless of whether they are one or not.
