Decreasing the speed limits as proposed on both the frontage road and East Valley Center Road east of the underpass intersection, clearly will improve visibility, provide safer travel, save lives and is the CHEAPEST & quickest initial remedy for this problem. I am extremely concerned that putting the concrete barrier for Left only turns will create a congested and dangerous U-Turn problem at Nelson Road. Nelson Road already poses its own risks as it enters the frontage road at an angle. It seems quite sophomoric that many (not all but many) of the dangers of all said intersections can considerably be mitigated by simply lowering the speed limit and yet it is not implemented. The benefits outweigh or negate ANY justification for keeping the speed limit at current levels in these areas.

There is a nursery school on Frontage near Springhill and we use the Spur all the time to get to Belgrade from Bozeman. Correct the lines of sight and keep allowing ALL of the turns. Forcing people to turn right only, will make it much more dangerous when they try to turn around on Nelson or other drives and maybe even in the new MDT yard. Hmmmm a collision with a snowplow would be very bad for an out-of-towner that is just trying to get to Belgrade.
