This man has a record of abuse, has admitted to his intent to hurt her after the fact and she chose not to shoot him in self-defense, but rather scare him enough for him to let her go. And she's facing 20 years in prison for this? Besides the point that the facts are pointing to her innocence, there is also an issue of race relations at play. In the gray area that presents itself at court and in the law. See to it that an innocent person's life is not wasted and devalued. Please re-evaluate this case thoroughly and release her.

This is especially disturbing when she had filed a restraining order against this man who had abused her multiple times! It is even more disturbing that she was arrested right away with no one dead; but George Zimmerman walked free for days before his arrest even though it was known that he murdered Trayvon Martin!
