Children need a childhood without any excess pressure, be it financial or peer. Today they grow up too soon. Whether this is forced on them or not, they need to just be children. Not having the privilage of having any, I think that I see them differently, young and need of protection and love. The alternative for these youths is crime and prison. Spending money on prevention is always wiser than rectifying destroyed lives of innocent people and having to jail a person who will be a life long problem to the community. The center did excellent work which should be taken into correctional services. Consider funding the center again please... it is to the benefit of society. Thank you.

I am an ex learner from the training centre, where I was taught to think out of the box and was successful in all my studies and work skills, This centre turned me around and i am thank full for their time and effort, which was well spent. With so many learners with so many individual problems there is bound to be a few rotten apples in between, but why should everyone pay the price for them, what they did was wrong, I intend going back to the centre when it reopens as a student teacher, because it is the only home i ever enjoyed. What the police and social development did was pure in competence, so guys put it right, so that other underprivileged children can get a chance at a real life. “Right the Wrong”.

I am the principal of YLSTC, and in my personal opinion, the school was closed unjustly and unfairly. I am a mother, and am participating on the parents, I am now in semi retirement, and the best thing I can do is to offer my services to “Right a Wrong”, so I have requested the position of call centre manager, which is my profession. If this Training Centre is reopened in this region, it could serve many in these huge Communities of Diepsloot and Olievenhoudbosch. Clearly, a dreadful wrong has been perpetrated here, and the Government should not only feel obliged to re-instate all those Teachers and Students that have suffered severely from these actions against them, but to see this College re-instated to help these two Communities.
