Here in Philadelphia, one of the most conservative archdiocese in the United States, we have seen the same thing done on a massive scale. Gone are many of the beautiful religious icons, statues (especially Mary) and marble now replaced with a minimalist style Protestant style. Some of the protestant churches began using crucifixes, as the Catholic churches trashed (literally) precious religious art. Our numbers have dwindled and many beautiful places of worship were practically given away to other denominations that publicly denounce Catholics. We must be united to fix this mess and maybe turn the clocks back a bit! I am a post Vatican II adult who has never heard a Latin Mass nor taught true Catholic doctrine. It out on my own after exiting the church. Now as a revert to Catholicism, I would love to see the past become alive. We may be a world away from each other, but we must remain true to the Roman Catholic Church! God Bless!

All Catholic parishes are in sore need of TRUE, faithful, and reverent priests, in order to keep our precious Catholic faith alive. I agree wholeheartedly with all the above points of the petition, and implore you to take action to implement all of them, for the good of this parish, our Catholic Church, and all other parishes which have suffered a similar tragedy. We need to return to traditional worship in traditional churches, with traditional priests who are serious about the faith, and the salvation of the souls entrusted to their care. Please take seriously and act appropriately upon this most important petition.
