brought my trailer out to a road that is 4 km long, i brought my trailer out a week in advance. we went out on thrusday, in the day and a half we had befor opening day, 3 other groups come in, one group had six guys, and the other had 5, both from down south, the group from thunder bay had two. they just drove right past us and set up there camp not even a km from us, to me this is wy hunting is dangerous now, with 18 guys hunting a 4 km road, they sould not be aloud to come up here and hunt!!

yes. az a hunter my self . dont fell like it is safe to go hunthing on the opning weekend .we have too many hunters form other citys cominig to thunder bay.we have to do some thing a bout this .

I agree with this 100%.... The people that come here think that just because they traveled alot longer then we did that they should be able to get the best areas.

I love this idea. I hate fighting over a road even to camp on not even to hunt in. With the areas for hunting getting smaller it is becoming harder to find a area to hunt without 5 other trucks coming in the same area.

I believe that an over population of hunters come from other parts of our province and do not care about our environment. They consistently leave garbage and have a great disrespect for the land. What does it matter to them.......... They'll just hunt a different area next year.

i am a local hunter i am not comfortable going out hunting on the first couple of week's of open season because of the over population of out of area hunters ie:states its like a shouting gallery out there they dont care about are local wood lands i dont even care if i get anything i love being out with nature a injoying the scenery my youngest daughter wants to get her hunting licences so she can go with me but im not sure its for her own safety she's 13 it just gets alittle crazy opening week

I grew up in a hunting family, my dad and brothers hunted for years, still do. I have heard that over the years things have been getting worse (increase of out of town hunters, and less safety 'out there'. I am just adding my tw cents on the matter, and hope something can be done. thanks
