The NHS has withdrawn services from the Hospice unit year by year after the retiral of its first Nurse manager. Bring back a Nurse leader that is professionally strong to lead such a specialist area of care. RIP Moira Ewan who was one of the founding nurses and fought to the end.

They were absolutely wonderful in caring for my Nanny (who also volunteered there herself) when she was dying. It is lovely to know the staff care about the patients and make them as comfortable as they can be in their last days. It would be a shame not to have somewhere like this in Dunoon. It's been 3 and a half years since she passed away and I'm still to this day grateful she had such lovely people around her at that time.
