It has become such a tradition for us to watch the ballet (and for me getting a yearly photo-op with the amazing Tyler Angle). My sisters and I are triplets who are sixteen years old. Seeing the NYCB is always a highlight of our summer. We want to continue watching them perform as a tradition, and we want to invite more of our friends to come with us. Their such a spectacular and talented bunch-- SPAC wouldn't be around with the NYCB and this is fact. They highlight the Performing Arts spelt out in S.P.A.C. My sisters and I would like to watch their performances multiple times over their season, therefore 5 days is not enough. I know I am young, but I have seen the decrease in the amount of stay for the NYCB at SPAC. That is how quickly they have decreased their residency and I never want to see these wonderful performers disappear from their beloved "summer home" at SPAC. I appreciate this petition and everyone supporting it.

Even when my daughters were too little to sit through a ballet, the open grass area allowed for them to be introduced to the art form. All four of my daughters, three of which are now teenagers, continue to dance ballet today. The magic of Saratoga and the NYC ballet, I believe, played a role in my girls' continued love for ballet. Saratoga Springs has something very unique in being the summer home for the NYC Ballet. It is a gem you do not want to lose!!
