It is not appropriate to have huge waste incinerators and other plants with toxic emissions near to adjacent villages and potential public entertainment and working spaces ie universal theme park and film studios. And proposed building of homes.
This will further blight the landscape and may affect proposed investment from the entertainment industry which is promising and for employment opportunities. These are more valuable than building a capture facility that is yet to be proven to be workable/effective.
There are other installations around this area for gas, the covanta incinerator, so why is this land earmarked for more energy and waste disposal. It is not wanted or needed in this location.
