Anonymous, Cranbrook, Kent, United Kingdom
'getmein' is associated with and probably owned by ticketmaster, how is it fair that tickets sell out within minutes with hundreds of people unable to book them when they are online at the time they go on-sale but these companies somehow manage to secure hundreds to be sold at a profit?

Don't the t&c's on the back of tickets generally say 'not for resale'- so why are these sites allowed to blatantly flaunt this?

I have spent many a morning sat at my computer ready to click 'buy' when tickets go on-sale and then fail to secure these and then within mintes in some cases being directed to 'legal' touting sites asking for often double the face value price.

I and many others have missed out on events due to this, it is hard enough trying to pay for gig tickets that are generally overpriced in the first place.

More needs to be done to enable fans to sell tickets on at face value when they are unable to go. Scarletmist, one such site closed down a while back as it couldn't afford to keep going yet it offered people a safe way to buy and sell tickets to many sold out events.

Mr John Mark Channon
There is clearly collusion taking place here as most of the tickets for popular events are already 'sold' by the time they officially go on sale. Therefore, one can only assume that they have in fact been pre-sold to intermediaries such as yourselves who then corner the market and profit from the situation. Nothing against profit....but not at the expense of rigging the market! Government should put a stop to this as it adds zero value to the consumer and surely must be anti-competitive. Be interesting to see what the OFT would say about all this. My guess is nothing will be done to protect the consumer.....and the best policy for customers would be to stop paying inflated prices for concerts/events and stay home! So you boys can hopefully go out of business and revert to being straight forward 'honest ticket touts' outside venues! although is that legal ;)

ms maria casale, Maidenhead, Berkshire, United Kingdom
Please change the law, the re sale of tickets at inflated prices is unfair. People/organisations are taking advantage of ticket sales for the general public. Only the affluent are able to buy tickets at inflated prices. This unfair and should be against the law.
